Garlic and it's amazing benefits

Dating back over 6,000 years, and that is as far back in human history that the Great Pyramids at Giza where not even buildt then.

Garlic is in fact native to central Asia, and has been used throughout its history for both culinary and medical purposes. And in my own humble opinion, having both the strong taste and the health aspect both present in one common vegetable is truly great.

Garlicbread, my own favorite :)

When we look at the health aspect garlic has been found to have antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal activity. And it is also claimed to help prevent some heart diseases, high cholesterol and some types of canser.

It's antioxidant content is 0.22 mmol/100g and that is not bad at all.

If we compere the content of antioxidants in some different types of food we find this:

0.22 - Garlic (Norwegian grown)
0.03 - Carrots
0.09 - Hamburger

But whether or not science has proven the effects of eating garlic... common peoples medicine has proven with over 6000 years of experience that eating Garlic has huge health benefits.....
